Attend a Shadow Day Session

Enroll in Program
Listen in on a no-pressure virtual information session to see if the program is right for you or your child. Topics covered: program history, eligibility requirements, commitment requirements, uniforms, physical readiness test (PRT), grooming standards, drill experience, advanced training opportunities, enrollment fee, and upcoming Shadow Day sessions.
Visit the home page for upcoming information session dates/times.
After you've attended a virtual information session, interested future cadets will be invited to attend a Shadow Session with the unit, held at the Naval Reserve Center at Buckley Space Force Base. This session consists of a 3-4 hour in-person session shadowing an active cadet of similar age, gender, and interests. Chow is provided and parents/guardians are given a tour of the facilities and overview of the enrollment process.
At the completion of a Shadow Session and mutual fit is established, an invitation to enroll is sent via email with next steps on how to enroll and supporting documentation required. Upon final enrollment, your child can attend the next month's drill as a Recruit Cadet.
